THE DIPLOMA IN MUSCULOSKELETAL MEDICINE

The Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine was originally instituted by the Society of Apothecaries of London in 1992 and is now run by the British Institute of Musculoskeletal Medicine and is open to medically qualified candidates who have made a special study of the non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

It is the intention of the Examinations Board that this qualification will indicate a degree of special competence and will be of interest to doctors in hospital, private or general practice, who are responsible for helping sufferers from loco-motor disorders to lead a normal life.
